Laser Skin Resurfacing
In the past, laser resurfacing to achieve radiant, rejuvenated, more youthful-looking skin meant taking significant time away from work and/ or social events to heal, making the decision to have this done a difficult one for many patients. This is no longer the case! Restoring your skin, stimulating collagen, reducing wrinkles and reversing sun damage has never been easier. Dr. Coberly offers two state of the art lasers so her patients can get the results they desire with the flexibility they need.
Fractionated CO2 Laser
The Fractionated CO2 (SmartXide DOT®) laser is an aggressive resurfacing treatment, requiring a bit more downtime. Dramatic results can be seen after a single treatment, perfect for patients with deep wrinkles, sagging skin, significant sun damage and severe loss of collagen.
ResurFX™ Laser
The ResurFX™ (Fraxel®) laser is a less aggressive resurfacing treatment, requiring minimal to no downtime. Exceptional results are often experienced after one or more treatments. This option can be ideal for patients with fine lines and wrinkles, mild to moderate sun damage, and mild to moderate skin laxity.
It is important to note that not all patients are candidates for laser resurfacing. Dr. Coberly will determine if you are a good candidate for these treatments at the time of your visit. Patients with light skin and fine wrinkles are generally the best candidates for resurfacing, but many different skin types can be treated. Once you have been evaluated during the initial consultation, Dr. Coberly can talk with you about your options and help you decide whether laser resurfacing is right for your needs. If so, Dr. Coberly will develop a personalized treatment plan designed to help you achieve your goals with beautiful results.
Laser Hair Removal
Laser Hair Removal is a non-invasive approach to permanent hair reduction. Experience no down time while eliminating hundreds of hair follicles with this safe effective method. This procedure is quick and effective for larger areas and designed for most skin types. Patients with light skin and dark hair experience the best results. Consultation Required – May require a Test Patch depending on Skin Type
IPL Photo-Rejuvenation
Photorejevenation is a non-invasive treatment that uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology to reverse signs of aging and sun damage. With bright pulses of light delivered to areas of the skin targeted for treatment, IPL therapy can effectively address broken capillaries, age spots, skin discoloration, early rosacea, and sun damage.
Our practice utilizes the Lumenis® IPL Photorejuvenation system, which is a non-invasive technique that can improve common skin concerns by producing heat within the dermal layers. This can ultimately help the skin restore and replenish itself, allowing for stimulation of natural collagen and elastin. The process can lead to noticeable enhancement of skin tone and a reduction in signs of age, as well as certain kinds of skin imperfections and dermal conditions. To make the treatment as customized, effective, and comfortable as possible, Dr. Coberly uses an Optimal Pulse Technology (OPT™) component that can help deliver excellent results with enhanced safety precautions. A cooling gel can also be applied to the skin to minimize any potential discomfort.
Most IPL photorejuvenation treatments last about 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the size and number of the areas targeted for rejuvenation. For many individuals, a series of treatment sessions will be necessary to achieve the best results. Most patients will experience some degree of temporary redness in the treated areas of skin following IPL treatment; however, an extensive recovery time is typically not required. In fact, normal daily routines can generally be resumed on the same day the treatment is performed.
Treatments are usually packaged in groups of six for the best results. Outcomes may be enhanced by combining photorejuvenation with DiamondGlow® Dermalinfusion. During your initial consultation with Dr. Coberly, she can talk with you about IPL photorejuvenation and determine whether this treatment is right for you.
Pulsed Dye Laser Treatment
Pulsed dye laser treatment can significantly reduce redness and address areas of skin affected by broken capillaries and rosacea. For many patients, this FDA-approved treatment can correct redness in just one to two treatments with stunning results.
Tattoo Removal
Not every decision we make has to be ‘forever’. Dr. Coberly offers the Q-Switch laser known for its non-invasive, gentle, and effective ability to remove unwanted tattoos. Keep in mind, tattoo removal is a process and most patients require several treatments for optimal results.
Vein Laser
If you are tired of caking on makeup to cover up facial redness, or if unsightly spider veins keep you from going to the pool or the beach because you do not want to put your bathing suit or a pair of shorts on, then laser vein treatments may be right for you! This highly effective, non-invasive, laser treatment targets blood vessels and destroys them with focused heat beams while bypassing your outer layer of skin eliminating the vessels on sight. away. This spider vein treatment works best for small-to-medium-sized vessels.
